Instagram if you’re not aware, is the place to be for Digital people these days. The Digital photo diary app allows you to document your daily musings and have access to your friends’ and favorite celebrities’ too. It is quite addictive. Although there’s no clear formula for success, brands have been using it to connect with their fans. We noted the Dunkin’ Donuts halloween campaign and we love it.
Under the Hashtag #DressDD, the donuts company was hosting a contest on a simple premise: “How would you dress your Dunkin’ Donuts cup for Halloween”. Simple, straight to point. The results hundreds of submission, great traffic generated for the brand online and in the stores (you need a cup to design on). Winner of the best design got a gift card to stock on glazed deliciousness.
