Hiroshi Watanabe & The Monkey Series

Hello Dotters,

Today’s visual inspiration comes from the great photographer Hiroshi Watanabe .  In the monkey series, Watanabe chooses to reproduce the traditional japanese Suo Sarumawashi stage play. In Suo Sarumawashi monkeys are dressed up and perform sketches imitating humans.

Watanabe’s pictures makes the scenes even more dramatic. The black and white adds intensity and depth to every shot. Enjoy the pictures.
